FAQs

  • Chemical Peels chemically exfoliate the top layer of skin. This will cause new skin cells to form and increase collagen production. The new skin will be more even in tone, smoother, and less textured.

  • Visible skin peeling is complete by 7-10 but it takes 28 days to see final results. You may need 2 chemical peels spaced 1 month apart for maximal fading of dark spots and acne control.

  • There is a slight burning discomfort when the peel is initially applied. It will last about 3-5 minutes. The peel will self neutralize and anesthetize the top layer of skin so that the discomfort only lasts roughly 5 minutes. A fan near by can help to relieve burning sensation but is not required.
